PCL Elevator

• Also known as wire catcher.
• The sharp tip help elevates the PCL & periosteum from the bone when used in fore/aft plane, whereas the blunt sides help elevate the posterior compartment when used in rotational motion.
• The hole in the head helps secure the wire while remaining the tunnel, thereby protecting the neurovascular structure from the drill tip as it exits the posterior cortex, hence the name.
